Each year on World Physiotherapy Day there is a focus on a specific health condition that can impact everyday life activity. This year the focus is on Low Back Pain.
One in six Australians suffers from low back pain*.
Heavy, awkward, and repetitive manual tasks undertaken in the workplace places many manual workers, such as tradies, at an even greater risk of back problems. Many Athletes, across all sports, regularly suffer low back issues. Many risk further injury, and acute back pain can quickly develop into a chronic condition, if not treated.
Physiotherapists assess and treat using a range of interventions, including tailored exercise programs, and offer guidance on injury management and prevention strategies.
Physioworks Health Group Directors & Specialist Musculoskeletal Physiotherapists David Francis (FACP) & Andrew Dalwood (FACP), along with numerous members of their physiotherapy team at Physioworks Health Group, have much experience in the treatment and management of low back pain, across all age demographics with client’s presenting from a range of work/sport/life activities.
The Physioworks physiotherapy team can assist you with your Lower Back Pain. For an appointment, please call to your preferred Physioworks clinic.
