Physioworks Physiotherapist Amy Shipperd recently worked as the event physio at the 2025 Australian Blind & Low Vision Championships, held in Melbourne in mid-July.
Amy was kept very busy across the event with athletes presenting with shoulder, elbow, wrist, achilles & lower back injuries.
“Many of the athletes do not have regular access to physiotherapists at home. The event was a great opportunity for me to provide some education and exercise advice for the athletes to take home with them” said Amy.
