Consulting at Physioworks Health Group Camberwell, Physiotherapist Amy Shipperd is a highly experienced physiotherapist.
Physiotherapist Amy Shipperd conducts Clinical Rehabilitation & Exercise group sessions at the Physioworks Camberwell clinic. This includes the use of Clinical Pilates & also Pilates-informed Exercise in tailored CRE programs for effective injury management outcomes.
With vast experience in acute sport injury, Amy has keen interest in sports physiotherapy. Amy developed this interest due to her long-term 25+ year involvement in tennis, including two years on scholarship playing US College Tennis in America.
Amy Shipperd has worked as an onsite physiotherapist at numerous national & international tennis tournaments, including numerous Australian Open events. Amy works with able-bodied players, as well as athletes with impairment at these elite athlete tennis events.
She has been team physiotherapist for numerous girls’ underage cricket teams, including the Country Victoria Girls U15 teams.
As a mother of two young children, Amy has also developed an interest in managing Women’s Health Concerns, including pre & post-natal issues.
Amy has completed extra certified training in strength & conditioning, working extensively at a purpose-built athlete gym, facilitating the strength & conditioning and rehabilitation programs.
Supporting her 15+ years of clinical experience, Physiotherapist Amy Shipperd has also completed numerous certified education courses, including:

- APA Dry Needling
- DMA Pilates Level 1 & 2
- APPI Pre and Post Natal Pilates

Amy Shipperd graduated from LaTrobe University completing a Bachelor of Health Science (Physiotherapy). Amy is a member of Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy Australia & Sports Physiotherapy Australia, as well as an active member of the Australian Physiotherapy Association (APA).
