Physioworks Health Group are proud & excited to be providing financial support for local community athlete Riley Morehu.
Riley, a promising young basketballer from Warragul, is attending the Lowanna College Sports Academy.
Riley has been in numerous Basketball Victoria Under-age teams & development squads over recent seasons. In 2024, Riley, a point guard, has been selected to represent Gippsland United Senior Men’s in Big V Basketball.
The Lowanna College Sports Academy provides student-athletes like Riley with a fulfilling & challenging education whilst helping him to develop this basketball career while building confidence, character & leadership skills.
The program is designed to increase student opportunities to pursue a career in sports and/or continue on to further education & training.
Physioworks Health Group Director David Francis said the program helps to develop Riley’s promising sporting prowess, but education & training further helps to future prove the athlete during & post athletic career.
“The Academy ensures Riley has a fulfilling education to prepare & assist him to pursue a career in sports or continue on to further education & training during or post his sporting career. Physioworks Health Group are delighted to help him achieve his sporting dream; whilst also furthering his education.” said David.
