Physiotherapist Diana Mekhiel has joined the physio team at Physioworks Health Group.
An active member of the Australian Physiotherapy Association (APA), Diana Mekhiel is a dedicated and compassionate physio with a strong interest in helping people stay active, mobile and independent. She has particular interest in musculoskeletal rehabilitation, neurological condition management, and recovery following injury or surgery.
Diana is passionate about supporting those with “everyday” health issues— whether that means reducing joint pain, improving balance and stability, managing arthritis or back pain, or rebuilding strength after surgery. She understands how important it is to remain active and confident in daily life, and she works closely with each patient to create practical, personalised treatment plans that fit their lifestyle and goals.
Diana takes the time to listen, explain conditions clearly, and ensure her patients feel supported throughout their recovery journey. Her approach is evidence-based, gentle when needed, and always focused on long-term health and wellbeing.
With over three years of experience as a Sports Trainer, Diana has developed advanced skills in injury assessment, rehabilitation planning, and safe return to activity.
Diana Mekhiel is the team physiotherapist for the Berwick Football Club in season 2026.
Outside of work, Diana enjoys staying active through skiing and gym training.
