Physiotherapist Rhea Torres likes to be involved in all stages of her client’s rehabilitation journey, from early intervention all the way through to late stage return to sport and/or everyday life activity.
As a long-term participant in dance, Physiotherapist Rhea Torres has strong interest in Dance Physiotherapy, with much experience in the treatment & management of injuries for performers. Rhea has a background in dance across the genres of ballet, tap & jazz. In 2007, Rhea was part of the first Australian cheerleading team to compete at the Cheerleading World Championships.
Physiotherapist Rhea Torres is an APPI qualified & highly experienced Pilates instructor, skilled in mat work & equipment Pilates.
Rhea’s primary sporting passion is swimming. Over many years involvement with different swimming squads, she has much experience in competing, teaching & coaching. With this high level of understanding of the sport, Rhea now treats & manages swimmers with swim specific related injuries.
Physiotherapist Rhea Torres completed her Doctor of Physiotherapy at the University of Melbourne. Rhea has also attained additional degrees as a Bachelor of Science & a Bachelor of Behavioral Neuroscience through Monash University.
